Hi All...

My first attempt at photographing a bird in flight. I was lucky to find this red tailed hawk soaring over the desert northeast of Phoenix.

Hi Jeff...

Thanks for the kind comments. It was actually circling its nest located in the arms of a large saguaro cactus. I didn't want to get too close to the nest, but was able to see at least one tiny, fuzzy head poking up from the nest branches.
