Normally the steps are not mini waterfalls. First time in a dozen years the hike turned into waterworld.

Wife and I don't mind a little rain, but that is just too much! Hope you made it out safe and dry. Nice pics though, great colors.

Hey Bob,

That is some serious rain. But I have to be honest, these look more like just snapshots of a family outing then actual landscape photos. You should have posted some of the Landscape images from that day and included just 1 of these with the rain and your wife to illustrate the rain you were dealing with.

Did you shoot #1 and 2 with the camera on a tripod and a slower shutter speed, and without your wife in the shot? Those two especially could have been very nice.

Wow. I cannot imagine that much rain here in the desert.
We are worlds apart. Lovely shot in that last frame. Great story told!
