I think that you picked some great subjects to utilize 11mm on. The expansive sky in the first is really beneficial to the image, as well as the long leading line of the dock in the second image. Well done there. The image quality in the first is a bit of a let down with the leaning trees from the distortion, but I'm sure any non-photographer wouldn't notice that. Overall, I really enjoy the second image. That silhouetted tree adds something to the cliche dock image that is so special. The colors are nice, and I like that the water has some texture to mottle and blur the colors and clouds. Perhaps the saturation was taken just a touch far, but that's my preference speaking.
