I love how intense the Northern Lights are showcased in both of your images. And the variety of color is great since I'm used to see the blue and green hues.

What an amazing display of color here. But for as awesome as the color is it's too bad you have the house at the bottom of the frame. We shouldn't get so mesmorized by the color that a solid composition is ignored. For sure I would clone out the power lines in #1, that will help somewhat. Now for me #2 is better because there is no house at the bottom of the shot, but again, clone out the power lines, complete the processing in losing items that will distract from what is otherwise a very special scene.

And as always, location information is nice to have shared. Is this in Canada, Finland, Iceland?

Foreground interest, to me, adds another dimension to aurora images. I LOVE the building with the light on in the frame. I have only seen these "corona" type auroras once, it truly is amazing.

Beautiful images.
I can't believe we have been under cloud cover for the strongest geomagnetic storm in the past 5 years. I missed all of it because of our weather. I'm glad you were able to experience this event.
