Beautiful pastel colors and composition is nice.
If I have to pick only one, this would be the first photo.

I really like both of these. I kind of like #2 better for its minimalistic feel! #1 is a close second!

Jim: Excellent job on both of these. The sky looks very realistic--beautiful but not pushed to an extreme. I really like the pastel colors. I also like the composition of both shots.

Hey Jim,

Both of those are so really cool. I like them both a lot. These two shots are two shots that I have been desiring from those foothills for a long time. Every time I drive by those foothills on the way to Yosemite I keep an eye out for compositions like these. Great job on finding these!
