I've always been captivated by the East side of Zion, but it's very chaotic and difficult to photograph. While wandering around there this past fall, I stumbled across this scene which is very chaotic, but I liked the variety of color and texture. This isn't the type of photo I usually take, so I would be really curious to hear your thoughts.

Interesting color, but I wonder what the photo is about. I bet it is crazy nice on a light table.

This was a scene I found when wandering around the East side of the park. I really liked the color contrast between the foreground plants, and the massive sandstone wall in the background. It was very magical light, the type that makes you walk a little slower and really take in your surroundings.

Definitely chaotic. Not sure this one has enough cohesion to drive it home. Also looks about 1/2 stop or so dark on my screen. Good on you for trying to get off the path and find new subjects out there.
