These images have me searching for "S" words, Kester. (Spectacular, etc). Poses, comp, IQ all fantastic. Lighting on the first two is gorgeous (catchlight but no beautiful tonal range of plumage); it's wonderful to see (for North Americans used to chickadees and cowbirds) exotic species like these.

Stunning images to be sure. The species and colors are a feast.

To my eye, the Better Beamer has tossed in just a tad too much flash. I like 3D feel expressed by some shadow, and here the 3D results from highlight. A VERY minor nit, and just my taste.

Awesome! I wish I was in the tropics right now! I love the cuckoo! It kind of reminds me of the squirrel cuckoo. Where were these taken?

Really superb sharp shots and great PP too. Your use of the BB and fill flash is well controlled too without making for unnatural effects.

Love the lighting and color of the first one...but do think there is a little too much flash on the last...having said that, I'd be happy with it.
