Equipment - Canon 6D, 70-200L II, 24-70L II, Yongnuo YN500ex, YN568II, and wireless triggers. Also a softbox, umbrella and gels.

I'm not sure I agree. The first two have nice light, it could be a touch harder which is not uncommon for the retro style...but the rest all seem very hot on her forehead. It looks like you've shot with a BD slightly too high and just a tad hot in the rest of the series. Also the last couple I find the key to be at an unusual angle for this style. But hey, I've not had any experience shooting this style either...just seen a bit of it around the place. Hope that helps somehow.

First one lighting is not bad. You have to watch out for some hot spots as Inga mentioned. Next time pose her to slim waist, and using a longer lens if permitted can make her look less wide. Wider focal lengths can accentuate the curves of people who are curvy. Sue Bryce has great tips and has lessons on posing.
