For sale is my Canon 300 F2.8 IS Mk II. I am the original owner. I purchased this lens from Amazon.com on January 1, 2013. I've only used it about a dozen times. The lens has had a Lens Coat (Realtree Max4 HD) installed since it arrived at my home.
I'd like to sell a complete kit including the Aqua Tech soft cap and soft hood (great for travel, this model also works with the 500 F4 if you're fortunate enough to own more than one "Great White.") I also have the Canon PL-C 52WII 52mm Drop-In Circular Polarizing Filter. Finally, I have the ORIGINAL version of the Lowe Pro Lens Trekker 600 AW. You can fit the lens with the hood mounted, along with a teleconverter and a 1D series body attached in this thing.
The 600 AW has been replaced by the 600 AW II. It's difficult to find information on the original model on-line. Fortunately I found this:
Digital Picture 600 AW (original version) review:
The lens will ship in the lens case 300B (along with the keys to the case) in the original box. The lens wide strap B is included (unopened) as is the strap for the case. The Canon E-145C Lens Cap is also included, but not shown in the photos. I knew I was forgetting something when I was taking the photos. I didn't remember the Canon soft hood until I had broken down the studio lights and I was putting the lens coat back on the lens hood.
My price includes Priority Mail shipping within the US. It looks like USPS only allows up to $5000 in insurance. The other items will ship in a separate box inside the Lens Trekker 600 AW. I will ship outside the US at your cost (not sure this is economical).

Guess I need a bigger table. Canon E-145C Lens Cap (not shown) also included

Business end. Struggled with lighting this uniformly

Rear element

(Most of) Lens Coat removed - adhesive sections left installed

Wasn't there a thread about leaving the tape on the lens hood retainer?
