We have had 3 nights of freezing temperatures, laying waste to the majority of my flowers. I will miss the Mexican Sunflowers .
Much to my surprise , there were some Gulf Fritillaries still out trying to ensure the next generation. All the creatures were looking for pollen anywhere that might have survived the temperatures.
Earlier hummingbird visited, so was out with the 500 with 1.4TC . Hummer did not show up, but shot what did .
I don't normally try hover flies with 700mm
Your nits, crits and suggestions are most appreciated.
Hope you enjoy what is probably the last of the summer critters .
