p.1 #1 · p.1 #1 · Some after and before shots

I regularly get nice compliments about my processing and mostly I answer that my pp involves only minor adjustments. Today I'm going to include the unprocessed images.
The RAW files have been run through Camera Raw, all sliders at neutral, no profiles, presets or anything else added. Then resized in Photoshop to 1100 pixels and saved for web.
Once I find a suitable subject in a nice environment I start shooting, going from A to B to C until I get to the point where I'm sure I got the image. A very relaxing process actually.
Thanks for looking. Comments are always welcome. Btw they were all shot with my lensbaby.
Chris

Beautiful set Chris. Looks like you have mastered the lensbaby. It really has a marvelous rendering on colors.
2 and 3 are my favorites.

Look great to me, Chris, but when you "Save for Web", you lose the exif. Try "Save As" instead.

Good work Chris. I love the one with the spider. Well done, and thanks for the peek into your processing methods.

Thank you Tony.
My dutch version of photoshop only knows one way to save images for web .... and the exif is included.

It's not the camera, it's only partly the lens in this lensbaby case, certainly not the processing....it is the guy behind the camera who has incredible vision (and as an ophthalmologist I am qualified to say that )....Chris you showed us the man behind the curtain (just in case that doesn't translate in Holland...a Wizard of Oz reference) and I'm still amazed by the magic you make!

Thank you Ron. With subjects that don't move there is no need for a quick snap.

Thank you very much, Eric.
I'm familiair with the Wizard of Oz reference but had to look up ophthalmologist.
Positive and encouraging comments from friends like you had a big influence how I shoot today. That's the real magic I think.

Thanks a bunch, Tim.
I'm glad to hear you find them relaxing. The fun thing about shooting the small stuff is that once I get in there I often see something unexpected.
Here's the shot before I saw the spider. I messed around with the color temperature in post.
