I just love the second shot. Everything about is is beautiful.
I agree with dmacmillan, not the best angle of the horse in the first shot , but that second one,
amazing.
. thanks guys. I agree it's not the best angle of the horse. I think I just liked the overall melancholy feel of the shot. I liked how both of them are looking back over their shoulders' too. That was a shot I grabbed while she was walking to the end of that treeline so I could grab some shots of her after she mounted.

Wildcats_Fans... How are you in San Diego but a big UK fan? did you used to live over this way?
I grew up in Madisonville, KY. I was stationed in SD while in the Navy. I got recruited by an ex Navy Admiral to work for him on a startup company in SD, so I took the job. A kid and ex wife later, I haven't left. Even though I have been here over 20 years, I still consider Kentucky home. Tried and true blue blood.

Awesome. I'm a transplant from Alabama, but I certainly consider this my home now. I do enjoy going back to visit but I love Kentucky. Even though I do bleed orange and blue
I would delete the 1st, 2nd is nice, but you need to have a horse wrangler along to get the horse's ears perked forward. it would work as a person portrait, but not for the horse people. if you don't have someone along to help with horse, sometimes stomping will help or if you can rustle something or pick up some dirt and let it fall to the ground.
