A very pleasing composition in beautiful light. Your point about going "tighter" is well made - here we have much detail to explore throughout the scene amidst a rich color palette.
A very small nit - I'd be tempted to burn down the bright area in the lower left. My eye keeps getting pulled to it first while it wants to explore the rest of the frame. However, the nit does not reduce my enjoyment or appreciation of the scene.
