Here are some images taken during a flight around the coastal mountains near Petersburg, Alaska. I had really wanted to see Devils Thumb, but the weather did not cooperate. Nevertheless, the scenery was pretty impressive. Shown in the last three images, the LeConte Glacier is the southernmost tidewater glacier in Alaska. All images were made with a Nikon D4S and the Nikon 28-300mm VR lens.
