p.1 #1 · p.1 #1 · Cathedral Rock, Sedona, AZ ***REDO - 2nd Image***

Took this last week while traveling through AZ coming back from Denver.

***post process REDO***

- Honestly didn't realize how far off on the first image I was until I changed up my workflow this evening and tried something new.

- In my very short time in photography I'm realizing that can't trust my own eyes!!

- I did NOT even know there was a rainbow in my picture until tonight (top right corner)...happy and sad at the same time.

Nice! Love the foreground and the golden light on mountain. My only nit is that my eye keeps wanting to peak over the foreground and see the stream. But nevertheless a beautiful capture.

Very nice, a perspective I've not seen before.

Hey Jonathon,

What a cool creative shot. I actually like the composition, and the lake of the stream showing flowing in the mid area towards the background. This composition creates a sense of mystery that is really fits the mood of this one.

If I had one nit, it would be to lose those bare branches in the right side of the sky.

@JimFox: I thought exactly the same thing, but didn't see them during the capture (worried about getting struck by lightening). Tried cropping, but it took away too much. Seems like nature cooperates maybe 5% of the time.

@Dbehrens: I originally took an iPhone shot just so I could quickly text it to my girlfriend, and that image has more of the creek in it. I guess it's a good way to maintain the suspense!

Cheers Stan.
