Couldn't help but to go with a play on words.

This is Thornton Academy which was build in 1888 and remains a highly sought after educational institution for middle and high school students, therefor making it truly "old school"!

Yes Rusty, someone was bound to do it! I'm kinda surprised it wasn't done before me.

Bill, I wanted to take a shot of the first school I attended as a child but didn't have enough time available to travel to it. It was a two room school house when I attended it back in the day, but has since been expanded. I had to settle for Thornton Academy which is where both my children attended. It's a private academy that luckily the city we lived in tuitioned it's children to.

Greg and aPhotoBrujo, that you for the comments. Thornton's campus has since expanded to include a wide variety of architecture and offers it's students many examples of architecture. There's even a gargoyle on the corner of this building!

Very nice, Diane. I almost did something similar as my daughter and I happened to be traveling taking college campus tours including my old school, but since it isn't that old, I figured it is only meaningful to me anyway.
