For those familiar with the area, we hiked up to Sentinel Pass starting from Moraine Lake. No bear sightings, which I was actually kind of disappointed about!

I like #1's composition, but you really need to fix the polarizer blob in the sky, it really hurts that shot a lot. Polarizers are great tools, but shooting with Wide Angles, or shooting at high altitudes like that, one has to be ever so careful. If you needed the polarizer for the water, then take 2 shots, one with the polarizer adjusted for the water, and then one where the polarizer is dialed back for the sky, and then just use a layer mask and blend the water of the one shot with the sky of the other.

#2 I would be tempted to crop half of the sky off and go to a pano crop, it is a nice view after all, but just too much sky.

#3 is my favorite (besides #1 with a corrected sky).

So a question. Were all of these taken on the same hike? I am going to Glacier pretty soon, and was thinking on taking a short little run up into Canada since I will be pretty close at that point.

Excellent feedback, I'll try to work on that

Yes all the same hike. If you start early you could even do another hike or extend this one to Lake Annette through Paradise Valley.

Next time I do this hike I'll be planning to be up at the pass no later than 9am, the sun really gets too harsh to make the most of the scenery up there.

Just be in a group of 4, otherwise you may be fined if caught. I've never seen anyone actually enforcing it but friends have and with the advertised fine going to the tune of $5,000 we prefer not to risk it!
