I did a long trip during the July 4th weekend. The first stop was Mt. St. Helens. The hope was to get a nice-looking-of-colorful-flowers-foreground-and-fiery-sky-ish shot, but I never had that luck. It ended up with cloudy weather and the mountain was hidden almost completely - but I did see the colorful-flowers foreground and a sunset with fiery sky 
And this were the two shots I got on the way back. I got to say that comparing to the samples of Nikon 14-24 I see on the Internet, the image quality of Canon 16-35L is just a joke, especially in the corners...
