I just got back from a week up in the White Mountains of New Hampshire, I was in Crawford Notch State Park climbing a water fall late morning when I got to the top and turned around I noticed the Moon was setting over the granite face of the mountain with a few nice clouds working their way by. I prefer these day time shots of the moon because I shoot them with a polarized blue sky with the intention of using a red filter during PP/ conversion giving the effect of the black (night sky).
