Thanks a lot Karl for the tons of kind words.
It was a windy day but the light was good so I went out anyway.
The wind caused my subjects to be more approachable I guess. With the exception of #2 (he was gone after four clicks) I even could remove distracting elements.

The wind was actually not too bad. Sometimes far too strong but sometimes almost gone. Needless to say I took a lot of images and did spend more than two hours in that field.

All very nice, Chris, but the first two have a special appeal to me. The artistic quality of those images stands on its own making any technical comment superfluous.
