Went for a stroll by Gorton Creek in the Columbia River Gorge. Weather was ideal following the rain with an overcast sky. Feedback, comments and criticism much appreciated as always!
Lovely scenes. I'd suggest cropping those with bright sky peeping in, and the last one could be a little darker. In the end, always enjoy rich scenes from the Gorge.
I really like 1 and 5 the best. Great scenes with vibrant spring green glowing across the frame. Well composed. You might want to experiment with darkening the sides of the hills a tad and creating a path of light up through the creek. Keep on clicking!!!
(exposure was a bit too hot though (I know it's tricky though, especially with 5D3 banding, to expose low enough to save the brights, but it's better to put shadow banding out of mind and expose as needed))
Nice creek scenes. They are hard to come by - clean ones that is. I personally think they are a tad too bright, especially the first and last one. One the first one, I would crop maybe an inch on the right side, and a 1/2 inch on the left.
