I know that this area is a bit cliche, but I couldn't resist. I can't decide what one I like better. Criticism and comments are welcome and appreciated.

Hey Daniel,

Do you mean Iconic instead of Cliché? But either way, for myself I have to say who cares? A good photo is a good photo no matter where it's been taken or how many times it's been shot. When people bring up a shot being iconic or in your words cliché, it's almost like they are making an excuse for it a head of time. Shoot where you want to shoot and don't worry about how popular it is.

With that said, I like #2 the best here. #1 is a nice shot too, but #2 really stands out. Just clone out that sharp vignetting in the upper right corner and you will have a winner.

I like them both. #1 is soft and colorful. #2 is stark and strong. Depends on personal tastes since they are both good. The vignetting in #2 is a bit strong, and uneven as Jim mentioned about upper right corner, but I suspect this was intentional and leave it up to you.

Going against the grain here, but I always prefer color. I like the second comp best, but the color and sky of the first gets my vote.

I have not seen many from Devils Garden.

Great photographs. can't really help you with criticism as they are excellent. I like the second one most though! I just love B&W for scenes like this!

i like the composition of the color version. gives it more of a towering and powerful look. 3 strong old men looking down on the landscape. really cool!

Color version for me. Love the lighting on the clouds, and like the composition from the lower perspective. Both are beautiful, cliche or not. (Hey, we all can't be the first one there to snap a photo.)

Orange and blue go together so nicely that I'm going with the color version. The composition works really well with the foreground rock as well.
