The color version has more "punch" for me.

The B&W is better. The blow out clouds don't stand out as much in the B&W version for some reason.

I like the B&W version better but the color is nice too. I crave more foreground element to balance the image out though, it seems cut off to my eye.

Thanks for the feedback guys! Interesting how split it is. On Facebook everyone loves the colour version more. I'm leaning towards the B&W myself.

Charlie, regarding the foreground, I can certainly understand how it feels that way. Unfortunately in this setting, there are some Aboriginal houses in rough shape and a secondary highway which are less than photogenic, right below where I've cropped it! Wish I had more to work with
