A 5 image vertical pano with my 58mm @ f/6.3 with my D800. Sunset was near and a small storm just passed by, I was hoping to get a big and bright rainbow, but the rain over the mountains was cool looking.

Nice vista Todd, thanks for composing a pano of this scene as there is so much of interest here. I find sometimes when I am out in the field that I forget that images can be stitched together and fail to present everything of interest that I saw in person. Exposure & colors seem to be spot on and I don't feel like anything was left out of this photo. Thanks for sharing.

An excellent scene that you've caught. The range of clouds--from raining to higher altitudes is very nice. Perhaps a little burning could be done in the lower left corner as that bright area draws my attention a little aggressively.

Hey Todd,

Where was this? I am still trying to find good RMNP locations when I go visit my daughter there.

I like the mood of the shot, though I think I would lose some off the left. It's too bright around the tree there, and the partial rainbow makes the shot feel a little incomplete like you were shooting in the wrong direction. So I would crop that off.

Nice one Todd!! Looks very familiar from my drives through the park. Is this along the road entering the park from the Beaver Meadow visitor center?

Yes it is, it's at the large pullout with the discriotion boards that tell you what you are looking at.

I'll try to tone the left corner down some... Thanks

Excellent image Tod. I feel it needs a warm contrast to those lush greens. In Capture nx I usually selectively increase red orange tone (tree trunks here).

Nice work here, Todd. The rainbow at the left edge of the frame is a nice bonus.

I agree. That rainbow is a fun little addition. Wish more of it was in frame but great expanse nonetheless.
