wonderfully rich. I feel like I could step into this image.
A minor nitty thing - what phase is the moon? The clouds soften the moon and make it appear oval instead of a partial moon. I think if you are wanting an oval shape including the reflection, I'd leave it be.
Again - fantastic shot.
Is it worth it? Well if your hospital stay after return was less than $10k, I'd say yes.

Thank you very much David for the compliment and feedback! Just for kicks, here is the moon and reflection at a ridiculously close crop... I'm not sure there is anything to learn from it, but what the heck let's pixel peep!
It was very hard to get here the first few times I did. But you learn as you go, right? Now I bring clients in here with ease and safety and a very short hike. The first time I made it down in what I call the "crack" it was with a client from FM. Maybe he will pipe in? But we climbed down, shot it and climbed back out under headlamp. I have many years of mountain climbing experience so we did it safely only risking a few bumps and bruises. Then later attempts I figured out you can practically walk right in! Duh! Same thing happened in another spot I shoot somewhat near here. The first attempt was 14 miles each way (navigating around tons of stuff that does not show up on maps) with a minimum of 60 lbs on our backs due to 3 gallons of water and Gatorade and then all our gear. Later I found a way to 4WD within 3 miles of it (and took a few others from FM that way - which was epic). Then later I got even smarter and found an even easier way! I guess that is what pioneering is about. You try new stuff, and hopefully, eventually you learn better ways...
Cheers!
