p.1 #1 · p.1 #1 · Stars in a desert

Over the weekend, I went to Lost Dutchman SP with location scouting in mind. Did not really plan any night shooting this time but still took few pictures of the stars. Here is one of them.
I know the fg is noisy because it is shot @ISO 3200, and saguaro on the right needs to be cropped of, but I still like it, will be going back for more when I get a chance.

No noise filtering other than in-camera was applied.
C&C welcome.

This is a pleasing image. I like the wb you used, something I find very hard in night shots. It looks fine on the web, but I have never gotten one I could print because of the noise.

Sasha,
What you do with this--to me--lovely night shot depends on how you want to use it. I suppose if you would like to sell it you have to go back and redo it with more promising exposures. If you want to print and mount it on your wall, you could use a little noise reduction, etc., etc., etc.
I agree with Ben.

That's an interesting place.
As far as composition, I wonder if you could get closer to the cliffs and away from the bushes and trees. Maybe point to the left a bit to avoid the light glow from the nearby town (I assume not sunset glow). The sky looks well done. I tend to like it it a bit on the blue side but I think it matches perfectly with your foreground and would want it like this also.

Its a very nice composition and it works great for me
The red glow in the corner ( Phoenix? ) adds a nice touch as well
Great capture.
