I was exploring the area around Zion NP last week, and visited Grafton Historical townsite again. This structure is the John Wood Home. The original town was established around 1862 and most inhabitants were killed by indian raids. The survivors moved the town to a nearby location (this one) that was a bit higher than the original settlement so they could see attackers before they arrived!

Very nice Jeffrey. I like the old Utah homesteads and history.
So far some are still well preserved, unlike Colorado where everything's been picked over.
