I am usually a lurker around here, sitting behind my desk getting inspiration from the absolutely stunning pictures you people post here, thanks!
Now a little contribution from myself

I have been to this place several times, but the weather and light have not been anything special. So it have been on my hitlist for quite some time.
This evening the clouds and sun had all the right ingredients for a nice sunset.
So i packed my bag and jumped in the car, its around a hour drive from me, a couple of miles outside Oslo, Norway.
Arrived at the location, and everything fell into place. Very relaxing and beautiful afternoon.
You know that feeling when everything is set up, and you can just sit back and enjoy the show mother nature puts up for you!
Just arrived home now, and done a quick edit. I have a new monitor, and have not calibrated it yet.
So any feedback is appreciated

It's great to see you get out of the lurker corner and move over to the poster corner!

Overall it looks like a beautiful scene, your initial editing looks good. It's just this is twice the size it should be. Check out our guidelines and please repost this at 850pix wide.

Nice, simple lake shot. Would look good as prints for some of those cabin owners

Sometimes it is unfortunate that the image size restriction is so small, especially for people who want feedback. It is so easy to hide focus issues or blending problems in a 800 pixel web image. Before you reduced the image size here I did notice some haloing on the treeline of the right side. Barely apparent in the small version. Fix that up and I think you can call er finished!

I had been guessing this was Wisconsin or Minnesota before I saw you're from Norway.

And thanks for the heads up about the halos Justin, will try to get them out of the photo before print.
Strange how you kind of go blind when working on a photo over time, should put it away for some time before finishing it to double check everything
