To me, it appears a little dark and the crop is too tight.

I think it's a cute photo. It's just too blue (or underexposed) for my tastes.

I dont think its too underexposed. I can clearly see the subject and what they are doing, the whole face isn't visible so I dont need a ton of light in there. I dont really see what more light in this image would allow me to see better or convey honestly.

the blue toning in the shadow areas is a bit strong but its not too overly bad and just looks like its to your taste. SKin tones are still pretty decent in the highlight areas.

hey yelloguy2! thanks for looking! hah seems not too many people are feeling the moody look in a smash cake shot!! I shot it with more light, actually I could have used bigger fill in retrospect, but I made a cross processed look for the person who wanted the print, they liked the boy popping off the dark bkgd! And they did not want to typical looking photo, like ROOC!

the moodiness actually printed very well on inkpress metallic!

come to the dark side....you'll love it here!!!

thanks nextelbuddy!! yes the look is strong, prob too much for the average person's taste! These are outakes and I have much tamer looks... I just prefer darker more moody images for myself! I tend to print on metallic papers a lot, and usually my stuff is very contrasty b&w.

Hope to cut it up with you all soon!
