she is a beautiful young girl, you'll need to meet her future boyfriends at the door with a shotgun... great pic, might be better if you hadn't scalped her..but I see allot of portraits like this so maybe that's a desired, or acceptable composition
Wow! This is a great capture, the expression on her face is quite precocious. I'm not sure whether the washed out look is intentional, it does work quite well in this shot and adds a nice vintage softness to complement the rich colors.

This would of been better if the skin and lips were left alone. Kids dont need it.
+1
Great portrait of a beautiful girl... let her be a kid and picture her that way. She'll grow up and look "fashionable" faster than you can imagine. You'll wish you'd captured her looking more like her beautiful self.
Thanks everyone for the replies. I'm not calibrated (have to invest in that!). I think the PP I used washed out the pic.
I didn't touch her skin, just removed a couple of dirt/grass spots And her lips are naturally like that. I do edit if they pics are going to her modeling portfolio.
Thanks for the compliments! She turned 8 a couple of months ago.
Here is the no PP version (I use LR4). I wanted to make the pic nice and warm.
