From the same tiny peninsula sticking into the ocean as my previous post, I could actually see the crashing waves from behind.
This hole in the rock (one of many along the west coast) was about a mile distant.

Judging by the amount of erosion since, I'd guess that I took the shot approximately 9.6 years ago.
