Great Set, I think my vote is going to be for #2, albeit maybe with a little less contrast.

Love these orangs! They look almost human and have some great antics. I gotta go soon. Don

I have been to Sumatra and Borneo to see these guys, always fascinating. So sad to see whats happening to the forests there because of palm oil. It's approved here in Finland for car fuel which is insane. Sorry for the politics I enjoyed the photos, great images, my favorite is the first one!

The amount of palm oil plantations from Medan to Bukit Lawang is insane. So incredibly sad how much forest has been destroyed because of it and it is near impossible not to use palm oil as it is in so much stuff!

I share the same sadness because of this. You can always try to avoid palm oil in groceries but the real BIG problem that is causing the palm oil plantations spread like wildfire is that it's used in cars as fuel. I think in US it's forbidden. In Finland and Europe in general I think it's approved. Diesel in Finland has now 10% palm oil. That means that a consumer can use 1000 times more palm oil than before even if that was all he or she ate before...
Please everyone read this about Europe's destructive biofuel plans: http://www.foe.co.uk/sites/default/files/downloads/driving_to_destruction.pdf
