Hey, Jeff. Do you know where it's headed? Looks like a carpenter bee. Probably on a mission to destroy some of that wood on your deck.

We've got them hovering all over our back area as well. Time to begin a war. Nice capture.

It didn't seem to have any one place it was headed. He was hanging around the same area the entire time I was outside, chasing off other bugs and bees alike.

I'll keep an eye on the wood because I know those carpenters can REALLY wreck shop on some wood (only "building" holes and sawdust!).

Bees eyes are definitely awesome - especially shot at a high res.

But I felt this angle conveyed his patrolling more strongly.
