Hey Ton,

This is pretty nice, but the foreground again is too bright for the sky. Also the sky seems a bit overdone. The photo is also too large, please no larger than 850pix on the long side of the shot.

On another note, it's certainly great to have you posting shots here. But a huge part of posting shots is that it's a two way street. Meaning people will leave comments and suggestions, and then you should comment and reply back to some of them. You don't have to reply back to every single person like some people do with the intent to just keep bumping their thread to the top.

But you will find that posting in a forum is just like communicating in real life, if you don't talk back with those who are talking with you, pretty soon people will just stop talking. Or in this case commenting. Oh you will get some people who blindly say "great shot" to just about every thread in here no matter how good or bad the photos are, so you will get some comments. But you won't get any meaningful comments unless you stop and take the time to respond back.

I hope that makes sense.

I think a different crop with less sky and more foreground,
it looks like the sky/foreground are right thought the middle horizontally.
Change that and I think the composition will look better

Ton,
I like the image overall. It is a magnificent scene, for sure.
And a difficult challenge.
The sky is lovely (perhaps a bit over-cooked?), and the foreground is very interesting.
Although having such a prominent horizon in the middle of the shot is generally not a good composition, it's not a "rule" that must be followed.
I wonder, though, did you shoot other pics that favored the sky? And some that favored those magnificent rocks?
It would be interesting to see how they compare to this treatment.

I have no issues with this image. The sky looks fine to me, and the foreground is bright only where the bright part of the sky hits it. There is certainly room for differing opinions, I like this a lot.

Great shot anh Ton. I like how the pools are divided and the reflection it provided. I've been wanting to visit this location but haven't the time to go scope out the area yet.
