So I woke up early to head to the local hat makers shop today. Something smelled funny and saw a bit of smoke in the kitchen. Opened door to garage and saw my car on fire. Of course my camera was in the car. Anyway family OK, car not OK, Kayaks melted and camera OK (was in dry bag). So no hat maker entry this week. Managed to snap one off somehow at f20??

Yes one hat, were probably fifteen earlier.
I had an early thought of stopping by the fire station, never thinking they would be at my place.
Sadly I think I could have captured a nice shot while this was going on but my mind was elsewhere.

Thanks Ed and dockery. Ed, hope you had a great time in Costa Rica. The flatbed has a winch and a pulley and he dragged the car out at a right angle to the flatbed. Then he winched it onto the flatbed and deposited it where you see it.
If there was no hat involved I would not have posted it. But I thought I could catch some sympathy.

Condolences on your losses @"that sucks" ... but, if that's the worst thing that happens to you this year, you got it made.
