Went ice climbing one night. A friend also proposed to his girlfriend at the top!

When we had better light, I took this. Can't decide which version is the better

And one while the fiance-to-be was climbing up...Pretty impressed with the D7100 at 6400iso, all things considered

Love the shade of blue in the lake, would never sacrifice that for a B &W.

Personally I actually like the B&W version better because it simplifies the scene, but that's just me. In either the color or B&W version I would crop out the top 1/2 to 2/3 of the sky because I feel like it doesn't really help the scene and it pulls my eyes away from the beautiful lake.

Really great capture. I also like the uniqueness of the headlamp photo, and the D7100 certainly works well at those ISOs.
