Hi Ken. Thanks for your nice words

I got the 70D for my wife and I haven't really used much. My first impression is positive. I believe it focuses more consistently than the 7D either on stationary or moving subjects. Good ISO IQ and the touch screen is handy.
If you don't need high frame rates and spot focus I would recommend it

that's a fine backyard! wonderful detail.
Our blue birds are inspecting the house lately. We have 1-3 families each summer.
I've been itching to get out and catch some shots of our little downy woodpecker.

Beautifully rich and completely natural color in all of these Socrate, and compositions are very well executed with delicious BG's.

1, 4, 6, and 9 are my favorites with #6 Brown Thrasher taking the Blue Ribbon.

Great set Socrate, I do love them all but that first BB with the beautiful BGD is my pick, I also dig the thrasher shots.
