I used a different sharpening method on these, but I have the reduce the opacity a lot to give a more natural look

Seriously Socrate, I started to scroll through these and I was flooded with early memories of finding this forum. I remember the feeling I got from viewing your work, I just loved your style. FANTASTIC, Socrate! (And I rarely use caps, but these are worth it). A tutorial not only for technique (beautiful detail, wonderful light, exposure) but also composition and style. A wonderful way to enjoy, appreciate, and learn more about this craft.

I need to see images like these more than now and then. I tend to get complacent and then I see what images should look like and it brings me a new found desire to improve my technique and processing. Everything here is just so spot on with such exquisite detail, composition and exposures.
