1) Sun was just peering over the horizon.Took this in November before all the snow began to fall here this winter. The blue reflection on the ponds ice caught my eye, as well as, the old water tower.
2) Sunrise on this barn that a British couple refinished into a home and the gentleman turned his silo into an observatory to view the skies.
C&C always welcomed.

Dan, those are cool barns. On the first one I like the way you show the morning light and the pond looks nice in the foreground.

Dan,
Love the nice warm 1st light glow in #1. Don't see many water tanks like that anymore. Nice composition. The foreground blue ice covered pond really enhances this image.
I like #2 but #3 with the oblique angle set anainst the mountains and the snow and cattle makes me prefer this one to #2.
All are great captures.

Danny,
3 very nice images. Seems that, at times, with all the besautiful parks, mountains, lakes...we stray away from the simple countryside scenery.
There are some great images on this forum that depict just that and yours are in that category. "The roads less taken".
Really like #1 for the morning golden glow and 3 for the morning perspective against the mtn ridge in the bg.

Like the 2 aviary residents observing on the observatory in #1.
Real nice!

A wonderful set, Dan- I really like them all.
#1 is a bit tight on the left- although there may have been something there that wouldn't work.
#2 & #3. What a great-looking barn-conversion they made!
And that observatory. Wow!
Of the two, I prefer the last shot, though, because of the perspective, openness and that incredible light.
Nice work- all 'round.

Hi Charlie!
The crop on #1 is too tight. Why I allowed myself to do this, go figure! I do have room to work with. I will adjust.

On my wife's Macbook Pro, where I am looking, #1 looks almost "yellowish" compared to the warm orange/yellow of 1st sun.

Yes I also enjoy #3 because of the snow, mountain ridge and openness.
