It is quite nice, and is an image which I'd be proud to share if I had taken it. Well done and keep up the good work to keep getting strong results.

Welcome Matt! I'm also new to these forums after lurking for a few years, and not realizing what a supportive environment exists here. You can tell by the responses to your post that people here actively nurture that environment, as opposed to a caustic, combative environment that can be found elsewhere.

Best of luck in your new life, although from what you wrote, and the looks of your first image posted, you're not leaving it all to luck! Beautiful shot!

Very nice image of the Marsh Wren in good light... you captured a wonderful calling pose with a good head angle against a creamy smooth BG... very well done.

Life is too short to not be enjoying the things we are most passionate about... good for you.

Welcome Matt and let me congratulate you on a super capture of the wren. I can see I'll enjoy viewing your posts in future.

The thing I've found most useful about this forum is being inspired by the wonderful images posted here by some many excellent and dedicated nature and wildlife photographers. Just seeing these images, knowing what is possible and seeking to rise to the standards set by others has been perhaps the most important element in any improvement I've been able to make to my photography over the years.
