Still enjoying these lovelies . There are 3 still hanging around. Hope they stay awhile as I have a shot I really want to get

For those still in the grips of winter, I'm sorry. It has practically turned to summer here and quickly getting green.

All of them are terrific shots, Roberta!! (I didn't know your real name until just now.

) All you bird photographers are inspiring me to try my hand at it once my Hummingbirds decide to come back. Last year, they got so used to the feeder that they would drink up a quart of sugar water every day and there were at least 6 in its vicinity all day long. As soon as I put it out again, I'm sure they will start to come back. I actually got some pretty good shots of them even back then. Maybe I'll post a few.

Anyway, all these are really lovely. Bravo!

Super set with super fine detail Birdie. It is a mazing your hummers are still hanging around through the winder. You must take good care of them.

Once again this is gorgeous work Birdie

I have been looking at the first pretty hard because it shows some interesting things. Not the least of which is how the dof fell on this one. At first I wasn't really fond of, too much of the backside is OOF. What that does though is lead my eye right to the birds eye and then makes me stay on the image longer. Staying on it longer I also noticed that the wing tucked under the tail is close enough to sharp focus that it adds a wonderful depth to the image. Amazing how the focal plane gets split just at that spot.

I love your humming birds Roberta and these are among your top 10 for sure Putting up the new fern really works well that green BG really is a sweet color for me

Please take my critique only as a means to be self critical and to improve.

1. Great captures.

2. You have posted better hummer sets in the past.

3. Image quality in #2 is the best of the set.

4. Bring in more color via flowers.

5. I love the pose in #5.
