p.1 #1 · p.1 #1 · Moon Over El Paso

Hi!

I am visiting some relatives in El Paso and the sunsets here are just incredible so I decided to climb Ranger Peak a few days ago with a minimal kit to make some images.

Here is a multishot pano and a single shot both using the 5D3 and 24 TS-E II. The small JPGs do not do justice. I tried to convert them down as best I could.

I ran into a large bobcat on my way down. He was eyeballing me from afar and I will never forget the first time I saw the glow of the two eyes amidst the darkness. He got out of the trail about 20 feet to let me through but kept eyes on me at all times.

I like that first image! Cool seeing the bobcat. I saw my first bobcat in the wild last summer.

Thx!

I worked on the Pano a bit. It has very good potential.

The pano is great. By far the most beautiful image I've seen of El Paso.
