While returning from a trip in the Wikieup AZ area on Hwy 93 the sky started to have some very nice colors at sunset. Please C&C are welcome.

Hey Ray,

Processing wise, these all look great I think. My only suggestion would have been to have shoot the cactus that is being silhouetted from a lower position. I think unless one can get the lower trunk of the cactus silhouetted, what ends up happening is the cactus feel cut off in the shot then. If you were driving and didn't stop early enough to plan ahead, than this may have been the best you could do. They look nice, but again, the one thing I do on these types of shot is shoot lower to the ground and closer in to the cactus to raise them up in the sky a little more.

Jim, thanks for the comments. Unfortunately we were on the road to our destination and only stopped to take a few shots by the side of the road without having time to set up with a tripod. I totally agree that the cactus would have stood out more if I was closer and lower and used one with less branches to give it a more traditional look. It was more about the color of the sky that made me stop to take the pictures.
