Lisa, I love your shots as always. Just beautiful.
Of these two it's the first one that catches me. I think it's the positioning of her hands, the chick to the cheek, and a better view of both faces that contribute to a greater feeling of connection between them. For me, that clearer connection is primarily why the first one grabs me. Also, it seems there's the tiniest smidge more contrast to the first one. It's still wonderfully diffuse lighting, but I think that's (a small part of) why it catches me.
Again - both lovely. Just trying to articulate my response to them.
