Jim,
Those two shots are taken way after the sunset (at the so called blue hour, hopefully you're familiar with the concept) so this is the color/toning that just came out on its own. I'll be happy to shoot you an email with raws so you can show me how the ground suppose to feel like. Also, I thought I added too much contrast, especially on the second shot, how in the world this shot lacks of contrast to you is a bit beyond me. Maybe your monitor is too bright
