Yes, graceful and beautiful young women but not a graceful photo. The cars are very distracting. The ladies all have bland, dull expressions. Some of the trays are in awkward juxtaposition to the faces. Yes, it's hard to make a picture like this sing, but then that's the task of the photographer. What would you think about interacting a bit with the girls sufficient to bring a smile to their faces?

As I've occasionally stated, I'm a traveler who photographs people using documentary style only.
I mentioned in the previous post the circumstances of my being there to take a few shots.
Laszlo- All the things you mentioned would probably have made this a better portrait- but that was not my intention. When traveling, it seldom is even a consideration.
Additionally- interacting with any of the girls would have been a terrible social mistake.
For all I knew, this was a funeral march. But it's intrusive regardless.
So, no, none of those things you mentioned were important or would have been suitable behavior for me.
I'm glad you feel that way, Patrick, because that is my intention: to share representative images of places I've been fortunate enough to visit through the years, and to do so in a way to suggest that if anyone visited, these are the kinds of things they might see and experience.

Another interesting shot from your travels.

I find this one a bit dark. Try brightening the shot until the whites of the skirts are nice and bright.
