Both images are striking and very well done. However, in the first image (with the magenta chairs) it's not quite clear whether it is to be viewed as a fashion shot featuring the dress, or an erotic glamour shot featuring the lovely model, or as an overall surrealistic image. These various elements compete with one another, even though it is a captivating image.
In the second image with the yellow dress, I think it is completely clear that the intention is to create fashion picture that shows off the dress.
Having said that, I still find the first shot with the chairs to be more interesting, perhaps because it is also more ambiguous.

I think the official line is that one of the Eagles may have stayed there sometime... or not... but it may have influenced the creation of the song. They do serve Pink Champagne at midnight on New Year's eve, though!
