Klaus,
Your series of compositions is breath taking. Just superb imagery! Detail, texture, color, exposures are picture perfect! Excuse the pun!
Again..they leave me speechless.
Dan
The first and last images are my absolute favorites! I like that you've nailed the color and exposure on these without overdoing anything. You've done just enough to eek out the fine details in the shadows, but still leave enough in for texture. I live in southern AZ, and I've seen a lot of examples that were way over saturated.
I knew this one was going to win the moment I saw it!
It's funny how a photographers skill set makes all the difference in capturing an image from a location that's considered iconic. And can make it truly special. Like Jeffrey winning a few months ago with his Flaming Roof ruin.

Craig, Thanks and wasn't sure about these since this place has been shot so many times. I do try and look for a unique comp when I go there. I can really get lost in there while shooting.

Well earned thread of the week. These comps are really cool and unique for a icon location. The 3-D effect is great! BTW what lens did you use?
Dave
Dave, Thanks and these were taken with the Canon 17mm TS-E and Canon 24mm TS-E lenses.
