We got fresh snow yesterday (Monday, January 27). The skies cleared, and I went out before dawn to a new (to me) site giving a unobstructed view of the entire Flatiron range (Bolder, CO).
I got two photos before dawn, in what a good friend of mine calls the "blue hour". Temperature was 3 deg F at the time. No problems with camera gear, but my hands got very cold. I finally resorted to some gloves, which made using the camera controls awkward, but prevented me from getting frostbite.
