Everything is starting to bloom in Southern California. (My apologies to those enduring -40 degree weather.) Here's the regular shot of this Daffodil I did today. I hope you like it!

I hate to agree with Tom about anything

, but as a certifiable contrast freak, I must.
Setting that aside, doing high key is difficult- and you've conquered those difficulties very well.
Plus the perfect perspective, comp, balance, yada yada

Thanks, Charlie. your kind comments are most appreciated and I'm glad you like this. I tend to be a contrast freak myself so I well understand. Given that, I bumped up the contras a bit - as much as I dared (after all, this is a pale yellow flower

) so I hope you like it even better now.
